This week saw the delivery and installation of the first bespoke cast concrete units to site. Wilson Massie of Balfour Beatty Living Places has let me use his images taken during the works to install. Balfour Beatty Services are delivering and installing all the project on site.
The units are manufactured by CCP Ltd – Cornish Concrete Products, nr Truro.
I am not sure if my previous comments were sent. Just to say how disappointing we are that the paving around the new lamp standards is yet to be done. Shame the lamp post replacements could not have occurred before the paving was complete. We are impressed with the gradual feeling of light and space as the landscaping progresses, is looking good.
The new benches look good, but being old and grumpy we wonder how they will cope as skateboarders use them as runways.
